Larry Guisinger Obituary

LANCASTER: Larry A. Guisinger, 70, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Pickering House. He was born on March 5, 1939 to the late Albert and Anna Margaret (Walter) Guisinger. Larry served our country as an Army Veteran.
He was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church and Eagles 2120.
He is survived by son, Tony (Amy) Guisinger of Indiana; daughter, Jane Guisinger of Lancaster; grandchildren, Emily, Evan, and Zachary Guisinger; brother, Roger (Judy) Guisinger of Amanda; sister, Sue (Bill) Hutchinson of Amanda; good friend and companion, Norene Murphy.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; and infant daughter, Cara.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church with Fr. Peter Gideon as Celebrant. Burial to follow at Amanda Twp cemetery where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Lancaster Ohio Veterans Burial Detail.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, October 5 from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to FairHoPe Hospice.
