Stephen Sturgeon Obituary
LANCASTER: Stephen Oliver Sturgeon 34, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away December 23, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center Lancaster, Ohio.
Stephen was born May 17, 1982 in Lancaster, Ohio. He was a graduate of Liberty Union High School; loved his children; and liked to read.
Surviving are his parents Denise and Jeff Golden of Lancaster; daughter Aryana Sturgeon of Lancaster; son Stephen Oliver Sturgeon Jr. of Lancaster; brother Brandon Sturgeon of Lancaster; sister Amery Marquart of Baltimore; mother of his children Ashley Shields; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephen was preceded in death by his grandmother Amery Runyon; grandfather Oliver Runyon.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with Pastor Matthew Olson officiating. Calling hours will be observed Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 11:00 am to time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

I just cant believe this... you were doing so good! You were always so strong for everyone else and would always tell me everyday at work that if i ever need someone, to call you and you would walk with down my bumpy path until it was smooth again... i said the same thing right back at you! I wish you would have...maybe things would be different, i wish it was! I've been fight facing the fact that you are no longer here physically, that you are walking beside each one of the people that you loved and cared for doing what you did best, being their guardian Angel! I can't even imagine what your family is going thru or how Ashley can find the strength and courage to tell your babies. I do find comfort in knowing you are finally in peace and in a safe place away from this cold, cruel world, with all these demons walking beside us saying take my hand, you can never again be tempted into taking it's hand! I love and miss you so much and i will never forget you! Fly high and sore with the angels, R.I.H Stephen.... i send my condolences to each and everyone of his family members, and i hope that you can find comfort in knowing he is always with you and he is in a better and safe place now.
