Henry Cahn Obituary

July 2, 1915 - February 2, 2014 Henry Cahn, 98 years old, of Los Angeles, passed away after a brief illness. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut where his family had lived for five generations. A 1936 graduate of Yale, he served as a decorated officer under General Stillwell on the famous Burma Road campaign during World War II. Henry is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, with whom he shared a deep mutual commitment. He had two daughters from a previous marriage, Ellen Cahn and Elizabeth Weiss, and was a devoted parent to Jackie's two daughters, Rebekah Brod and the late Ann Ketover. A memorial will be held at Wilshire Blvd Temple, 3663 Wilshire Boulevard at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 18. His burial will be in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clergy Fund of Wilshire Boulevard Temple or a charity of your choice.
