I often think of Dr. Bernstein. The last treatment I received has kept me in remission a very long time and I had promised to keep him informed of my progress when I moved to N.C. in 2012. I will never forget him. I worked with Dr. Bernstein and was also a patient.

I didn't realize that my time with Dr. Bernstein would be the pinnacle of my experiences with oncology departments. All others pale in comparison to the love and laughter i experienced in his rooms.

What an amazing doctor and psychological healer. Dr. Bernstein gave me the confidence I needed to slay the cancer dragon and trust in my recovery . He never let me feel anything other than indomitable. He healed me both physically and psychologically and I will miss my visits with him terribly. I am a better person for having known him. Well done Dr. Bernstein. Rest in peace.
