Dear Carla... what a beautiful memorial for KC. We learned so much about him that we didn't know in the 25 years he has been in your life! As we said before, please do not hesitate to call us for ANYTHING! We love you and wish you all the strength in the world to get through this.

Thinking of you, Carla, and your family during this difficult time. We were so sorry to read this news this morning. Although we have been out of touch for years, we still have such fond memories of KC and the time we spent together. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to KC's family and I send my sincere condolences to them. I remember KC during his lifeguard years at SM Beach. His sister Diane and I were good friends at SMCC. We lost track of one another many year's ago, and seeing KC's obituary brought back fond memories as well as the possibility of reconnecting with Diane again. It would be such a blessing to hear from her. She knew me as Susie Richardson, now Susanne Belcher. I can be called or texted at 818-825-0700 or emailed at [email protected].

It was my pleasure to be a Water Polo and Swimming teammate of KC at San Jose State in the late 1950's. Our immediate bond turned into a friendship that lasted for 59 years. KC was not only an outstanding water polo player and swimmer but a sincere and compassionate friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his lovely wife, Carla and his family. Memories of time with KC are indelible and shall remain in my heart forever.
