July 23, 1968 - January 17, 2018 Robbyn Foxx Hines, 49, of Venice, California, passed away on January 17, 2018, from respiratory complications. A force of nature, vibrant and undeniable, Robbyn enchanted those around her with beauty and charisma. Upon winning a beauty pageant in her Kansas hometown at age seven, she became the poster child for the national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and so captivated President Carter during a visit to the White House that he cancelled meetings to spend the afternoon with her. Robbyn was loved for her wry sense of humor and no-nonsense honesty; she was never the loudest one in the room, yet wielded an understated influence in her signature raspy voice. Her fierce grit and quiet grace in the face of her medical condition inspired everyone in Robbyn's life. Her keen sense of style set her apart in both her personal and professional life, which included modeling, production, and her longtime career as a successful commercial agent. But above all else, Robbyn was devoted to her husband, Bradley, her endless love, whom she met during college at The University of Kansas, and their daughter, Ava. Whether cheering on Ava's volleyball games, spending Sundays in her backyard, or winning games on the beach in Mexico, Robbyn relished each moment spent with her family and friends. Robbyn is survived by her husband Bradley Hines, daughter Ava Parker Hines, mother Joyce Freeman and her husband Jim, father Ron Foxx, brother Travis Foxx, in-laws Anna and Frank Hines, and extended family far and wide. Services will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Westwood, Los Angeles, CA, on Saturday, January 27 at 2PM.
