My father was unique in so many ways. He was a hands-on father...he took us children fishing, camping, performed magic shows at parties, constantly made jokes, helped with homework, and read bedtime stories. I grieved for him prior to his passing; since he lost my mother he had a broken heart. Dad, I am so grateful to have spent quality time with you before you left us. I will never look at sugarless desserts without fondly missing you. You were witty, intelligent, and your time was cut short because you were bereaved by Mom's shocking loss and never recovered. I am sorry for your pain and will miss you so much. I will love you always. Thank you for being my father. -Barbara (daughter)

My father has been and will always be my hero. I am grateful for being his son and watching one of the world's great love stories between my parents. Dad's memory is a blessing.
