Robert SILVERMAN Obituary

December 25, 1953 - November 12, 2015 Age 61, passed away peacefully after a long illness. Born in Chicago, Illinois to Yetta and Herman Silverman, Robert obtained his undergraduate degree in business and accounting from the University of Illinois and obtained his juris doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. He served in the Air Force Reserves. Robert loved the law and had a successful career as an international corporate tax attorney. He was a self-made man and a man of great integrity, loyalty, determination, and strength. He also had a quirky sense of humor, which his family enjoyed immensely. He is survived by his wife Sarah Moyed and their sons Griffin and Harrison Silverman, his brother Stuart (Ellen), nephew Heath, niece Becky (Eli Rogers), mother-in-law Elaine Moyed, and sister-in-law Hilary (Rich Ellis) and niece Alina Ellis. He was a sweet man and will be dearly missed. Services will be held on November 17th at 1:00 p.m., Woodlawn Cemetery, 1847 14th Street, Santa Monica, California 90404.
