Hard to believe it's been 10 years. I still talk about him to this day. He was years ahead of the game when it came to health, gut issues, and anti aging biohacks. He would have loved to see how far we have come in just these last few years in scientific breakthroughs. Sending love to the surviving family.

I had no idea! Bought his book in the 1990s and used his diet plans with great success on my clients during the 15 years I worked as a personal trainer. The world was blessed by Tony's presence and wealth of knowledge.

To this day, Tony's advice is the foundation of my health and well-being. In preparation for my daughter's wedding, which is fast approaching, we turned to my autographed copy of Tony's book, Hollywoods Healthiest Diets. As the pounds melt off quickly, I recall the conversation where he told me he used this for celebrities who needed to lose weight fast before the Oscars, which happen to be coming up this Sunday. I have saved every email and I refer to them for remedies, and his words remind me of his gentle caring nature. Every couple years, I repeat his supplement protocol for a healthy gut, and it works every time just like it did the very first time. I remember asking him if the conditions I experienced were normal, and he made the distinction that they were common but not normal. To this day, I take CoQ10 consistently along with other supplements he recommended, because he told me it was more important than a multivitamin. Tony's words and his loving care will always be a part of me, and I share his advice whenever I can with friends and family who will never have the wonderful experience of meeting with him one-on-one. May you rest in peace eternally, Tony. No one deserves that more than you. From your "star pupil"...

I know this is late in coming, not good at using the Internet it took me a friend to find someplace I could leave me my thoughts. Dr Tony was a brother to me. I was an early client. He asked how did I hear of him I told him, "The Yellow Pages. There were three peopel listed and his address was closest to mine." And thus began an everlasting relationship as my Doctor and my dear friend. When he became Nutrionist to the Stars, he never left me behind. He always made sure I had all his phone numbers and was always prompt in calling me back as soon as he was between appointments for he knew my loyalty and fragility. In the early years he had me looking better than ever. And my friends and family saw the difference. I'd send him many people his way and I told these people, "You do EVERYTHING Dr. Perrone tells you and you don't achieve the results he promised, I'll pay you back every penny you spent." NOT ONCE DID I EVER HAVE TO REFUND ANYONE! Not a day goes by that Dr. Tony is in my thoughts. I miss him dearly. And to this day, I cannot find anyone who comes close to his genius. And for that, I am sad. However, I found his last nutrion plan portfolio for which I am so thankful, it gives me a snap shot I show to those who say they know nutrion and they consistently have fallen short of his knowledge. Dr. Tony was alway humble and gave all the glory to God. I was always in awe of him and I still am. Because one day I will see him again and I cannot wait to see my dear friend and practioner! Rest In Peace Dr. Tony because someday, as you always said to me, "I know Grant is out there somewhere and it just a matter of time when he'll show up again." That always made me laugh. God bless you, Dr. Tony!Your friend eternal,GRANT S. STALEYDecatur, Illinois

Oh dear! I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Tony's passing -- and I'm 5 years late, apparently. I had just picked up his book again and came online to search and see if he was still in practice and found an obit instead :-( I will always be grateful to him for helping me to lose so much unwanted body fat -- and bringing me back to health! I did this back in 1995 in L.A. and used his meal plan for years -- and I plan to get back on track now. My condolences to his wife and Terra -- I remember Terra's birth happening around the time I was seeing Dr. Tony!

Dr. Tony cared for me like a brother. All those I sent to him, I offered to pay them back if Dr. Perrone didn't deliver what he promised as long as they followed everything he advised. No one has asked me for their money back. He IS still the best!

We only spoke over the phone. The subject was his precious Anita. Care, concern, compassion. I "knew" this man from the Light in her eyes that would shine ever brighter at the mention of his name, from the testimonies of his deep and abiding love for his Lord and bride, in all things, large and small. Many are not appreciated until they're gone, but Tony was loved and appreciated daily for he gave freely and so it was returned to him tenfold. Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." His treasure - his Lord, his wife, his daughter & family, his patients - is where is heart was. May the Lord's love bring healing to the unspeakable grief and loss Anita and other now endure.

I'm an acupuncturist/nutritionist, and I met Tony through a mutual colleague. We have an on line functional medicine chat group, and Tony's theories on high dose antioxidant therapy to treat autoimmune disease became a very hot topic for all of us. He used dosages that none of us had seen before, and the results he got where phenomenal. Tony became a mentor to me, and over the past year we had a few consultations where he taught me some of his protocols, and we had a lot of email dialogue in between. He was always incredibly generous with his time, and appreciative that I was asking for his guidance. He was a very gifted healer, and his antioxidant and neurotransmitter balancing protocols were nothing short of ground breaking. I'm very thankful that I got the chance to cross paths with Tony, and that I had the opportunity to learn from him. He was a humble and kind man and I'll miss his presence in my life.

One of the best days of my life is the day when I stood next to my beautiful sister Anita as she exchanged wedding vows with Tony. That was nearly 5 1/2 years ago, but the image of that day is clearly in my mind. I will never forget the happiness of that day nor the days that followed after that. My sister and brother-in law lived the "happily ever after" that we all dream of. I feel so blessed to have had a brother-in-law that I loved so much and he truly loved and cared for me as well as many others.. I am especially grateful to him to for bringing such joy and love to my sister. One of the sweet stories that my sister told me was when she would always say to Tony "Thank you for asking me to marry you" and he would say "Thank you for saying yes", she said that to him often. He was truly her "soulmate" they loved each other so much and extended that love through out friends and family. Tony and Anita's profound faith gave both of them the tranquil love of the LORD that sustained thier beautfiul days of married life together and they shared that love with all who knew them. Tony's life will always resemble to me, a candle in the wind, his light will never dim no matter how hard the wind of life blows. He will forever be the "light" that will eternally shine in my heart.
Thank you Tony for being our teacher and for shining your light on us with your gift of love, compassionate care for our well being and for sharing your love of our gracious LORD with us all.
Love your sister-in-law

Tony was a visionary. He helped us turn back the years of age and helped us to resculpture our bodies. He aided me and my husband, Steve to know good nutrition which we still practice faithfully because we feel so much better. Tony was truly a friend and will be profoundly missed. He did quite a lot in his short years and has touched many lives and made them better.
We are so sorry for your lose.

FOR TONY:
There are moments in life that are defining. The birth of a child. The death of a parent. A first kiss of your beloved. Or the day you found out you were better.
Tony's gift in this life was to be there for so many of those moments for others, in a way that no other healer I have ever known was. He had one simple attribute which rose above all else - FAITH.
When Dr. Tony Perrone said, "Don't worry you will be healed 100% from this" he inspired a level of faith that demanded such healing occur. There was no doubt the body would comply to the power of his overriding certainty. And what's more is that, with each proclamation he imparted some of that insurmountable faith to his patients - all of which he considered his brothers and his sisters.
I have no way of knowing how many lives he touched. How many souls he lifted and how many bodies he healed. But I know that I was one of them. His proclamation that I would be better was so steadfast, and so certain, that ultimately I simply believed him. Beyond all resistence my mind and body put up, Tony's faith carried through, touched my soul, and lifted my body right to the healing he predicted on our fist meeting.
This is a miracle. And Tony is a miracle worker. And as sure as he was that my health was my right, is how sure I am that Tony is still working miracles.
How do I know? How can I be so certain? Because he said it himself. "I am not this body." That is how he knew how to touch the soul regardless of the protests of the body. And that is how I know that he is still working his miracles.
He is not this body which lays before us here today. Nothing so contained would ever suffice as a permanent home to such a child of God! And as beautiful as he showed us this life can be - he is showing us now how easily it is transcended with peace, and grace and love.
His purpose in his methods of healing was not always clear to me. But that there was a purpose I learned to believe. His purpose for transcending this life is also not apparent to me now. And I know that as sure as there is life itself, there is a purpose for ultimate good in this too.
Thank you Tony. Thank you for your faith. Thank you for your Love. And thank you for the gift your life was for us all.
The tears we shed now do feel like pain, but I know they are nothing but pure love! And I will feel through all of them to that feeling my brother. I Love you!

Dr. Perrone, or "Tony" as he insisted I call him, was a phenomenal human being. I never met a more intent listener, a more patient doctor, a more kind and generous soul, a more brilliant and forward-thinking health professional. Western medicine and prescription drugs were never my preference, and for the last six years, thanks to Tony, I had finally found my alternative! I felt so fortunate to be at his memorial service and learn more about the life and family of this person I respected so much. The kind of husband he was, the kind of father he was, the kind of friend he was, and the kind of doctor he was... a man of this character is rare to find. My heart breaks and my love goes out to his wife and family, but also to his huge family of patients. Tony, you left some big shoes to fill! We will all love and remember you always.

My love is being sent from NC to Aunt Bonnnie, Anjie and her family, and my compassion for Anita, but of course all our relatives are in my heavy heart. If you didn't know...Tony was a fun and sweet cousin. I am very impressed by his short life. This is a very difficult loss that makes no sense and it hurts. It is of some comfort that Tony was so clearly well loved. I'll love and miss him forever - Kat Wies

I was a new patient of Tony's but had followed him vicariously through a good friend he helped heal from a disease that supposedly has no cure. Tony was a pioneer and his work stands solid. He left far too early from this world and although I was just getting to know him, I have the deepest respect and admiration for him. He was kind, reassuring, helpful, and a generous, loving doctor who wanted people to get well. The best doc I have known, and perhaps ever will know. People like this are gifts to be treasured. I miss him very much.

Tony changed my life, and in the process became a good friend. He was the only person I found that put it all together. I remember when I first started with him I was 260 lbs and size 40 jeans. He forbid me to work out! I thought he was crazy. I just purchased a new treadmill and workout clothes. I was actually on the treadmill talking to him on the phone...proud of the fact I was using the treadmill more than a place to hang clothes...and he told me to stop the treadmill or he was not going to work with me. I did. And 97 days later I was in size 32 jeans and 191 lbs. My transformation inspired many who witnessed it first hand. And I will always be forever grateful to Tony. I ask forgiveness for taking our friendship for granted. I miss him very much.

Tony touched and helped many, many people during his lifetime. He was a true "healer" who was determined to give the gift of health by sharing his vast knowledge of natural/alternative medicine to those who sought out his help. He worked long hours behind the scenes researching and preparing customized plans that literally changed peoples lives, and perfecting a healthy skin care line that was matched by no other. Tony was not only my boss at one time, but a friend who was always available by phone or email. It gives me peace to know that he is still available through prayer. I will miss you Tony. Until we meet again....Love Yvonne

I'm shocked and deeply saddened by Dr. Tony Perrone's untimely death. I think Tony Perrone was a genius and I don't use that word lightly. His capacity to heal people was incredible. He was exactly what I was looking for to treat and heal my family without the use of pharmaceuticals and chemicals. Tony's knowledge, dedication, generosity and kindness were unmatched by any other doctor. There is no other man like him, I'm sure of that.
My deepest condolences to his family.

I became acquainted with Tony through a recorded lecture he gave to health professionals. I emailed him regarding a hard-to-treat medical condition and over the past year he has so graciously offered advice and has helped my friend greatly with his quest for healing. He was always so generous and kind, and I am terribly shocked and saddened at his sudden passing. My blessings and sympathies to his family and close friends..

I am deeply saddened by this sudden loss and heartbroken for Dr.Perrone's family. He was a generous, dedicated and uncompromising Doctor. He loved his family and patients, and was one of the kindest men. Dr. Tony was the embodiment of his faith. Although he deeply practiced his religion, he was never judgmental of others who thought or lived differently from him. Dr. Tony led by example in every aspect of his life and I can't believe he has left us so early.
With love and blessings.

The family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I will forever take the great lessons taught to me by Dr. Perrone and remember him with an immense gratitude.

Tony Perrone was a man of his word. He gave me so much hope. He promised things would improve if his recommendations were followed. At first this worried me but I quickly came to realize that Tony was right! Every single thing he said would happen/improve did happen! This was not my experience with medicine previous to Tony and so it was shocking. Tony was a humble, caring, intelligent and a highly effective doctor. Tony helped me and my family in ways never attempted or thought possible by our other doctors. I so appreciated his hopeful and non-judgmental manner. No problem was too big or too small for Dr. Tony. He greatly impacted my life and improved my health and well being and that of husband and three children. We all learned many, many important things from Tony about staying healthy... I am immensely grateful for the time I had with Tony. Life will not be the same without him... I am reminded of him often... like every day when I eat my vegetables!

I have been a friend, colleague and student of Dr. Perrone's for over 10 years. His death leaves me speechless and bewildered. I have never known anyone so dedicated to his patients and his profession. I worked closely with him on many projects and found his love for his wife, family and Savior to be pure and admirable. Words cannot express my sadness over the loss of my good friend and doctor, Tony Perrone. Tony's humble and caring nature was surpassed only by his knowledge of science and the human body. Tony was one of a kind. He helped me and my family more in 18 months than over a dozen medical "specialists" were able to do in 15 years. We are so grateful to have spent time learning from Dr. Tony. He was a rare gift and the world will not be the same without him.
