Merrill McLeod Obituary
West Covina resident Merrill "Mac" Norman McLeod, 69, passed away at home, peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, October 24, 2011, after a courageous fight against cancer.
He was born on September 3, 1942, in Pomona CA to Keith and Virginia McLeod.
Mac filled his days doing what he loved most, water skiing, bowling and of course fishing; all of which he shared with family and friends. He was a loving Husband, father and Grandpa, even to those not his own.
Mac is survived by his wife, Margeann McLeod; sons, John Kelly McLeod and Jeffery Van McLeod; daughter; Jennifer Leigh Vysma; brother, Maurice McLeod; five grandchildren and many other family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by both parents, Keith and Virginia McLeod; brother, Mitchell McLeod.
A graveside service will be held today, Friday, October 28, 2011 at 3:00 pm, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA.

This is a time that nothing or nobody could have prepared me for. I will celebrate your life and remember the great times together. I miss you and love you very much Dad. You'll always be in my heart. Margie, Jen, Jeff...always remember his unconditional love, and love each other.

Margie, my dear, sweet soul-mate. For almost 45 years you have been a part of me; and Merrill - my brother by a different mother - my soul-mate through many lifetimes. We will always be together, the three of us, no matter when or where the other two are, we will have that unbelievable connection that made us who we are and will take us where we need to go. I can't get to you in time, but my heart is with you every second. My beautiful family. I love you so much. If I can do anything to help - please, let me know. Physically I am far away, but my heart is with you. Uncle Merrill was a good, strong man that gave everyone his all. So proud to have been part of his life. God bless you, Aunt Margie. I love you, ache for you. Miss you so much.
