I lived in Vivian's home in the early 2000's while attending law school. She was a wonderful person that always made me feel at home, we would sit down and talk for hours. I still remember her delicious chili. May she Rest In Peace. I will never forget her.

So sadden to hear about the loss of Viv! She truly touched many USMC families' lives and opened her home to all Marines. She was like a second mother to my husband and I in our early marriage and we kept in touch throughout our military career. We'll always remember how she lovingly cared for her elderly mother and all the animals she surrounded herself with. We still call roadrunners in her voice like she use to when feeding the local roadrunners raw meat. We named our youngest daughter after her too. She just turned 5 and has her sweet spirit. We'll truly miss you Viv! So happy our pathes crossed.

Your Mom was a special lady! Her energy was positive and attractive. I loved her sense of humor! Best of all, she raised wonderful children who became successful adults. Sorry for your loss. Enjoy the gift of remembering her.

I am sorry for your loss. When I was at Burcham, I was lucky enough to be in Mrs. Roth's class; she was a PHENOMENAL teacher!!! She was extraordinary, smart, and innovative. I am in my thirty-first year of teaching, and if I am half the teacher Mrs. Roth was, I would be thrilled. What an inspiration! My mom and I still have discussions about the incredible Mrs. Roth!
