Carl V. Hilton LEBANON Carl V. Hilton, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Herron) Hilton. Carl was born in Lebanon County, on February 14, 1934. He was a son of the late Luther T. Hilton and Mary Watson. Carl was a retired Physician Assistant from the Lebanon VA Medical Center and he was retired from the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. He was on the Cornwall Borough Council for nine years, Council President for eight years, Past President of the Lebanon County Association of Boroughs, Vice-President of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, Outreach Programs Coordinator, Safety Director for Transworld Airlines, Safety Director for Allied-Signal Aerospace Corporation, Professor at the Lebanon HACC, and was a Physician Assistant for Mechanicsburg Rehab Hospital. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Barbara, are four children, Theresa, wife of Mike Schiefen, Carl V., Jr., husband of Anna Hilton, Gary, husband of Tamara Hilton, and Maria, wife of Dan McGill; two stepchildren, Nanette Harting, and Greg, husband of Jamey Harting; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence and Thomas Hilton; two sisters, Terry Hilton, and Fran, wife of Cam Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042. Interment will Full Military Honors will be held on Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday morning 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
