Duane Seybert Obituary

Duane Edward Seybert, 72, of Salem, died late Thursday evening, September 1, 2016 at the Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.

Born October 14, 1943 in Pendleton, Ore., he was the son of Leland and Bernice (Platt) Seybert.

Mr. Seybert graduated from Union High School in 1962.

He worked in the grocery business for 40 years and he was very proud of those 40 years he worked.

On September 10, 1965, he married Diana (Gruver) Seybert. They were married almost 51 years and she survives.

Survivors also include two daughters, Faith Miller and her husband, Kevin, of DuBois and Julie Delarme and her husband, Randy, of Punxsutawney; and four grandchildren, Alexis Miller of Austin, Austin Miller of DuBois, Zachary Delarme and Breanna Delarme, both of Punxsutawney.

Funeral services will be private with the Rev. Jimmy Swogger officiating.

Interment will be in the Eddyville Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Clarion PAWS, P.O. Box 804, Clarion, PA 16214, or a SPCA of one's choice.

Arrangements are at the direction of the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
