Kevin Arnold

Johnson Creek, WI - KEVIN D. ARNOLD, 63 of Johnson Creek, WI died peacefully after a five-year battle with cancer on July 8, 2024. He was born on October 22, 1960 son of Dorrance and Jean (Steils) Arnold in Cedar Rapids, IA and graduated from Oelwein High School in 1979. Kevin married his High School sweetheart, Kerry Arndt, in 1982. He went on to the University of Northern Iowa where he graduated with a Business Degree in 1983. Together they raised two sons. Kevin had a long, successful career in Management, starting at K-Mart and most recently with Hobby Lobby. He was fortunate enough to be in the position to retire early to enjoy life. He spent as much time with family and friends as possible. He was an avid fan of the Packers and Brewers, attending sporting events all the way up until his death. Kevin loved spending time drinking beer on his patio with loved ones while listening to music and watching the birds on his birdfeeders. He always enjoyed reading a good book. Kevin was very proud of his yard and maintained it himself. He was most proud of his family, whom he loved dearly. He was very supportive of his kids and grandkids.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kerry of Johnson Creek; sons Bryan (Allison) Arnold of Brookfield, Tyler (Kristina) Arnold of Fond du Lac; grandchildren Vivienne and Leo Arnold; mother Jean (Steils) Arnold of Oelwein; sister Deb (Randy) Ralston of Fairfax. He was preceded in death by daughter Lindsay; father Dorrance Arnold; mother-in-law Jan (Proctor) Arndt and father-in-law Richard Arndt.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson. A funeral will follow at the funeral home on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Sunday. There will be lunch and drinks hosted by the family following the funeral at the Fairview Sports Bar & Grill in Jefferson. The family would like to give special thanks to Rainbow Hospice and UW-Hospital for their support and care for Kevin.
