Beth Melsness
Beth Elaine (Garton), Bahr (Milton M.), Welke (Theodore W.Sr.), Melsness (Lloysd S.) Age 95 of Monticello, MN passed away peacefully on April 21st 2023, at the Monticello Care Center.
Beth was born on Feb. 16th 1928 to Rose Anna Mamie Wees (Garton), and Oscar Leroy Garton of Eau Claire, WI.
Beth was #4 of 7 siblings brothers Leroy, Donald, and sisters Etta, Rosemary, Beverly, and Lavonne.
Beth married Lloyd S. Melsness of Strum Wi., in 1946. Beth and Lloyd had 3 sons Allen L. (Fran) Melsness of Eau Claire, WI., Dennis S. Melsness of Red Wing, MN, and Steven J. (Danette) Melsness of Montrose, MN. Beth Retired at age 60 from Uniroyal in Eau Claire, WI. After Lloyd's passing in 1970, Beth married Theodore W. Welke Sr. In 1974, and after Ted's passing in 1987, Beth married Milton in 1990.
Beth was very active in her Christian Faith, with Christian Womens, and teaching various Bible Studies were some of her passions!
Beth is survived by sister Beverly (Bev) Lahner, son Steven (Danette) Melsness, grandchildren, Ashley, Kaley, Jacob, Jordan, Emiley, Jon, Jason, Libby, and many great grandchildren.
Beth was preceded in death by her Mother Rose Anna, father Oscar, brothers Leroy, Donald, sisters Etta, Rosemary, Lavonne, sons Allen and Dennis.
There will be a family graveside burial service on June 23rd 2023 at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, WI followed by a Celebration Of Life luncheon.
