Dorothy Hotvedt Obituary

Dorothy Hotvedt, age 94 of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, April 27 in Eau Claire. She was born on May 20, 1929 to the late Charles and Gertrude Van Gorder.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Eau Claire, graduating from Eau Claire High School. She became an X-ray tech for a few years until she married Art Hotvedt in 1956 and then she was a homemaker. She enjoyed entertaining, crocheting, knitting and spending her retirement winters in Texas.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death are five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire with Pastor Christine Emerson officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire.
