David Heffelfinger Obituary

David Adam Heffelfinger David Adam Heffelfinger, 51, of Kittanning died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born May 12, 1965, in New Brighton, he was the son of Melvin J. and Nancy (Veahman) Heffelfinger, who survive him.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and graduated from Triangle Tech with an associate degree. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic with Drug Plastics and Glass, Kittanning.

Dave loved nature was an avid outdoorsman. He liked hiking and riding motorcycles, and would help anybody.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Sharnea Heffelfinger of Arizona.

Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 7-9 p m. Friday in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, with Pastor Robert Pascoe officiating. Interment will be private. To send an online condolence, please visit www.welchfh.com.
