Alexis Batastini Obituary

Alexis Marie Batastini May 31, 1990- December 10, 2004 CITY, STATE Alexis Marie Batastini, 14, of Mascotte, Fla., and formerly of Lowndes County, died Friday, Dec. 10 at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Fla., after a sudden illness. She was born in Panama City, Fla., on May 31, 1990 and had lived in Lowndes County from 1992-2003. Alexis attended Hahira Elementary School and the Hahira Middle School where she was a cheerleader and in the gifted student program. She was a Catholic. Survivors include her parents, Chris and Kimberly Batistini of Panama City, Fla., and Tammy and Mike Jones of Mascotte, Fla.; one sister, Morgan Batistini of Mascotte, Fla.; three brothers, Zachary Batastini of Mascotte, Fla., and Chris and Jonathan Mills, both of Panama City; her grandparents, Lee and Pat Batastini of Columbus, Elaine Williams of Niceville, Fla., Lola Graves of Jacksonville, Ill., Dorothy Jones of Hahira and George and Gina Jones of Atlanta; great grandparents, Sharlot Crowder and Dorothy Elliott, both of Kokomo, Ind.; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. CST at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Panama City. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. CST at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alexis Batastini Memorial Fund in care of BB&T Bank, 2901A N. Ashley Street, Valdosta, Ga., 31602. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.

you might not know me but im Tiffany im coach susan johnson (from sam's) oldest daughter when i herd that alexis had passed away i was extremly sad she was a great friend i didnt know her well but when i went to school with her she was the sweetist person ever i know for a fact shes in a better place sitting right there with my grandpa who passed away on 10\03\04 all i can say to the mother is hang in there it will be hard but you cant do anything to bring her back stay strong and god bless
