My EUH family has always been treated like family with the Gaine's. We have all been knowing each other since we were little kids and I consider Gooney as one my big brothers. My continued prayers and condolences to the entire family during this time. Rest easy my brother as you enter the Heaven gates to be with your sisters.

We certainly had great times at Georgetown Elementary. I ran into him back in 1987 downtown Columbus and he remembered who I was and we had a great time talking about the times we had at Georgetown. He will be missed by many.

To hear of the passing of Gonnie was unbelievable, but God doesn't make any mistakes. I had the pleasure of growing up with him and he was such a kind and rare gem. I know he will be deeply missed, but please take comfort in these words, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
