It's a shame that no one updated Brooks' FB page to let friends know of his passing. Only through his lack of acknowledgements to his birthday wishes did i look to see if he still walked amongst us. As a fellow admirer of Edgar Rice Burroughs I knew him through the pages of the ERBAPA fanzine. I met him once I believe at the Burroughs convention in 2012. Really can't remember much about what we talked about, but it was a pleasure meeting him. RIP Brooks.

I'll remember brother Brooks in many positive ways-with a big smile and a great sense of humor, always great with a story. Last year when Yvonne and I were here visiting and spent the whole afternoon, lunch in one place on the square them moving across the square for dinner, in LaGrange with Brooks & Elaine telling stories and reminiscing on past experiences was one of the fine memories I will have for the rest of my life. I know all will miss his humor and joy of life. His loss affects many of us. May you find comfort in knowing you are not alone in your sorrow and cared for so much by many.
