I was so sad to hear about the passing of Jack, I used to deliver auto parts to his shop, he was always nice to me and always ready with a joke I know he will be sorely missed. My sympathy to his family

I helped Sandy and Joe take care of Jack for the last year and a half.
Sandy and I were staying at the hospital with Jack one night when I felt the following words come out of my heart. I happened to have some paper to write it down and would like to share it.
Dear Friend Jack
Friend of mine, lying in your hospital bed, so fragile yet so strong inside. Unable to breathe without oxygen, yet your spirit is so alive inside, unshakable. Can you tell me a story or share with me a joke? Can you awake for just a while and talk to me? I know you don't feel well and you need your rest. I just miss those special times we've had together. Rest now, my friend, and let your body rebuild. Let healing flow throughout your body. And if it is not time to go home to be with the Father we'll have plenty of time to talk. But, if the time is right to go to your heavenly home, I wish you the fondest of farewells. In a better place you'll be, my friend, heaven-bound. We'll all be together by and by. What a wonderful promise.
Jack didnt leave us then but this old house is emty now, with Pat and Jack both gone. And we miss them both so much.

To Becky and Jackie, stay strong and know your dad loved you both so very much. I have been a part of Jacks family since Becky was concived and I know first hand Jack Sanes was one of the finest men I have ever met in my life. I remember going to visit when Becky and Jackie were children. He insisted on giving me the childrens room and he took the children into his bedroom. I could go on and on about the goodness that was in Jack. One of my last memories was seeing him in a church on New Years Eve. I know he loved the Lord and the Lord loved him. Heaven is a much better place with Jack being there. I love the song, I've got more to go to heaven for than I had yesterday. I look forward to seeing his smiling face again. I loved him and I love his two children very much. I pray God brings piece to their hearts knowing their dad is at rest today.

To Family:
Jack’s battle is over, the victory is won, and he can now follow our Lord into everlasting life. May you all be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, so that your faith will remain strong during this time of loss. Remember that you all will always carry memories of Jack in your heart.
