Am thinking of Martha this warm 14th day of July, 2023 - three days shy of being one year since her death. I see and read so many things that remind me if her and our wonderful get-togethers we used to have in her home, I sometimes feel she is still here among us. That´s a good thing. Her memory is still alive and well and her presence still felt by me and I´m sure many, many other loved ones. Thanks Martha, for all you´ve taught and shown me!!!!

I met The Moore Family in El Paso
in 1967 while I was stationed at Ft Bliss. I had recently returned from Viet Nam and knew no one in El Paso. The Moore family kinda adopted me as I was dating her daughter Nancy. I found Martha to be warm and friendly to me and I
never forgot this, even though I
had lost contact with her and Velasquez over the years. My time in El Paso was one of the best experiences of my life and I credit
the Moore family for that.

May you Rest In Peace Martha, you were a wonderful person to know!

I will miss Martha´s presence in my life more than I can express. She has been like a faithful aunt, big sister, mother, confidant, advisor and good friend to me all my life. You will always be in my thoughts, Martha!
