Wow, what can I say? Our family was close-knit, and we lived at the top of Urban while the Joneses lived on the second block. I remember, as a young girl, I would often visit the Jones family, and our families would spend Christmas mornings together for breakfast every year without fail.

You were not just a friend - you were like a big sister, a tutor for me when I was struggling with math, and when I got married, you sang at my wedding. I never got the chance to tell you how much I´ve always admired you - the way you speak with such diction and enunciation, your poise, your charm, and your love for being an AKA.

Oh, and by the way, the words you always sang when you were going to Liberty Hill - "It´s Good to Know the Lord" - will always play in my mind when I think of you.

Until we meet again,

Rebecca and I go all the way back to elementary school. I always remember how she was a math genius and she would share with others who did not always quite get it. She was a talented vocalist and my favorite song was "Jesus, I love to call your Name". So many memories, but most of all: She loved her God, her family, her friends and did so much to make this world a better place. Rest in Heaven my beloved Sister in Christ!
