George Ganko Obituary

George C. Ganko

New Ipswich, NH - George C. Ganko, 66, of New Ipswich, formerly of Lowell, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his residence. George was born in Wroclaw, Poland, April 18, 1959, son of Felicia (Wojciechowicz) Ganko and emigrated to the United States when he was 13 years old.

He has resided in New Ipswich for the past 12 years. George attended Lowell High School, Class of 1977. He enjoyed working on his computer, playing the guitar and flying his drone. But, the most important things in George's life were his family, his faith and his community. He attended the New Ipswich Congregational Church. George worked as a chemist for the NEI Corporation in Chelmsford until it was bought out by Honeywell and was relocated to Woonsocket, RI and he continued working there until his retirement in 2004.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Karen J. (Arseneault) Ganko; three sons, Eric E. Ganko of Tyngsboro, Cory G. Ganko of Woonsocket, RI, Kyle R. Ganko of Rindge, NH; his daughters, Aimee F. Knight of Eustis FL, Kendra L. Murphy of New Ipswich, NH; his sister, Maria Duffina of North Carolina and two grandchildren, Aubrey Ganko and Mason Ganko.

George's family will receive relatives and friends at a calling hour from 1PM- 2PM prior to the funeral service that will be held at 2PM Sunday, April 19, 2026 at the New Ipswich Congregational Church, 156 Main St, New Ipswich, NH.
