Natalie Somero Obituary

NEW IPSWICH - Natalie Hollis Somero died on May 5 in New Ipswich at the age of 86. She was a member of the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church of New Ipswich.

She was born on May 21, 1928 in Antrim to Guy and Edna Hollis. She graduated from Antrim High School in 1946, and married Irvin Wilhart Somero in 1948.

Natalie worked as an aide at the Laconia State School and as a home health aide for the Visiting Nurses Association. She and her husband raised their five children on a dairy farm in Belmont, N.H. Irvin and Natalie especially enjoyed their times together touring the national parks by camper. In her later years, Natalie took much pleasure in the arrival of her new great-grandchildren.

Natalie is survived by her children, Kathryn (Edward) Walters of New Ipswich; Kevin (Sharon) Somero of Columbia Heights, Minn.; Laurel (John) Blaine of New Ipswich; Lawrence (Marybeth) Somero of Harvey, Mich. and Nathan (Kimberly) Somero of New Ipswich, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a sister, Beverly Bigelow of Contoocook, N.H. nieces and nephews, and a host of brothers and sisters in faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Irvin and her sister Elizabeth.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Saturday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Independent Apostolic-Lutheran Church, 34 Beechwood Road, New Ipswich, N.H. 03071.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, immediately following calling hours at 10 a.m. in the Independent Apostolic-Lutheran Church, 34 Beechwood Road, New Ipswich, N.H. 03071.

Burial will follow in Central Cemetery on Main Street in New Ipswich.

God's greetings to all of you, how wonderful Natalie could be surrounded by the llove of her family as she met the love of her life, Jesus..
