Katy, Texas - Addie Koy passed peacefully from this world to the next at the age of 92, early Wednesday morning, September 6, 2023 in Katy, Texas.

She was born April 22, 1931, in Sealy Texas. She was a graduate of Sealy High School where she was a class favorite, a vice-president and a member of just about every club offered. She also attended business school in Texas City as well as attaining a real estate and broker liscence while she was living in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She met her husband, Billy Charles Koy at a high school dance and they were married for 54 years until his passing in 2007. They raised their 3 daughters in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Addie was an admirable homemaker, known for her buttermilk pie and Italian Cream cake. She also excelled at crochet work, sewing and quilting. She sewed all three daughters clothes grade K through 12, specializing in spectacular prom dresses!

She is survived by her two daughters, Janis Lea Koy of Austin, Texas and Phyllis Jean Thomas of Richmond, Texas, and also by her 6 grandchildren: Melissa Anne Rohrbach and her husband Robert, Koy Hill, Abby Harper and her husband Rich Harper of Rosenberg, Texas, Daniel Bowen Porter II and his wife Priscilla Porter of Bee Cave, Texas and Lana Koy Porter of London, UK. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Bentley Harper and Tanner Harper of Rosenberg, Texas and Savannah Hill of San Antonio, Texas.

She is also survived by her predeceased daughter, Cynthia Anne Koy.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Family Visitation at Knesek Brothers Funeral Home, 5-7pm, Tuesday, Sept 19, in Sealy Texas.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, September 20, 1pm

at Sealy United Methodist Church, 200 Atchison Street, followed by a graveside service and Church Reception at the Fellowship Hall.
