FINNIS ALAN (The Wee Black Man)
Died 10th July, 2009
The entire family circle of the late Alan wish to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all their family, friends and work colleagues who supported them in their recent sad bereavement. Those who sent cards, called at the house, brought food and beautiful floral tributes. The family would especially like to thank all his beloved friends and colleagues from Portsalon who turned out in such great numbers at his wake and the funeral, this showed the high esteem and respect Alan was held in. He would have been truly overwhelmed. A special word of thanks to the nurses who tried endlessly that day to save our Dad, we are entirely grateful for your help. Grainne, how can we repay you for all your help and on-going friendship. Also a very special word of thanks to Fr. Dermott Harkin, for his beautiful Requiem Mass. It was perfect. Lastly we want to thank Casey's Funeral Directors for the dignified and sensitive way in which his arrangements were carried out. It is impossible for us to thank everyone as so many friends and neighbours showed so much kindness. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
