AGE: 98 • Collingswood

On September 29, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Doris E. Carver. Loving father of Kenneth Carver of Salina, OK. Al was a graduate of Collingswood HS Class of 1936. He was a WW II US Army veteran having seen combat in North Africa, Italy and France. Al was a longtime member of the Westmont United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He served as Assistant Chief and Chaplain of the Westmont Fire Co. No. 1. Al was a longtime member and chaplain of Collingswood and Collingswood-Cloud Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite MSA recipient and Past President of High Twelve. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Viewing Wednesday morning from 10 - 10:45 AM at the JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, followed by a Masonic service at 10:45 AM and his funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Westmont United Methodist Church, 200 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108.

Visiting my mom and saw my Uncle Al had passed. My dad passed on the same day 9/29 in 2011. I remember Uncle Al singing in the church choir and his humor at family gatherings. RIP
