I’m sure glad AJ was on the radio at ol I for the Cajun music show
He was a real entertainer. All his family should be proud. I didn’t know when he to the great bayou beyond
Just saw his obit because I wanted to mention him to somebody in a text and I never knew how to spell Judice so I asked the google out loud and there he is!!!
One of my favorite quotes of AJ was “thank you Lord, for putting da Cajuns and da crawfish in the same place”
Wish I could meet some of his people. Ben Smith

I will always have great memories of Mr Judice visiting TJ during the pep rallies when I attended TJ in the 80's. Whenever I visit home, the store on 7th street is one of the first places I stop for my boudain. As a girl growing up in PT Arthur, we rode our bikes to the grocery store and he would always greet everyone. He was definitely a part of my creole culture growning up in Port Arthur.

To the Judice Family:
It was such a wonderful pleasure getting together with the family after so many years. AJ was indeed the most remarkable and unforgetable individual we have had the pleasure knowing. Our families developed a friendship that was unique in so many ways. He filled all our lives with fun and laughter and made us all feel so important. I shall never forget the trips we made together, especially the one to Utila by private plane ............. Not enough space availble for details, but the family has shared the stories many time.
Thanks for making us a part of your lives. AJ's memories will live on.
May your hearts be blessed by the memories of this wonderful and unforgetable individual.
Al & Michelle, thanks so much for your generous hospitality
With love and prayers,

This man surely put Port Arthur, Texas on the map and will be greatly missed. He loved his Cajun Culture. His son Larry and I were both in the 82nd Airborne but not at the same time as I am older. My Army time was 1956-1958.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Judice. He is such a large part of my memories of living in Port Arthur. He let me play the washboard with the band. Granted I had a couple of beers in me but what fun. He was such a cherished part of the community. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mr. Judice is playing those chimes in heaven now.

To Lois, Al, Larry, Kevin, Debbie, and Karen: Please accept my condolences on the passing of A.J. The loss right now is very hard; however, in time that hurt will turn into smiles and laughter when you think about A.J. It brings a smile to my face when I picture A.J. arriving at the Pearly Gates, seeing Aunt Larry, Uncle Tabin, Grandma, Pop (Regina and Nixon) and Daddy (Carl) sitting at a table full of food just waiting to sit down and talk with him.

With Love,
Stephanie

What a great and wonderful man Mr. Judice was. Thanks for the great memories I have as a kid (40 years ago +) visiting the store, the wonderful aromas, foods and talking to him. Also many thanks for everything he did for the community. It is amazing at how many folks he touched in those 80 years. He was in the simplist and most important terms "A Good Man". Doesn't get any better than that. Prayer of Thanks.

Some of my fondest memories are with A.J. and my late brother in law Wade Granger. No matter what A.J. was called on to do if it had value to it he was there. I Loved and appreciated him greatly.
Somehow I knew the last visit I had with him on the bayou a year ago would probably be my last.
Blessings To All The Family

Dear Family of A.J.,
Please know our heart felt sympathy and prayers are with you.
I will never forget my childhood memories of the walks to the market on 7th St. with my Papa (my grandfather, Jack Comfort) on Saturday mornings. What a treat, the aroma would make a full stomach hungry. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in Abbyville.
His smile and thick cajun accent wrapped around you and made you feel welcome.
With a quick reminder, "Jack & Chloe Comfort, Katie Lou Comfort Baker & Mel." He knew you & your family, where ever he saw you.
He will be missed by all he touched.
