Aletta (nee Hall) Colletti

Aletta M. Colletti (nee Hall) passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 88. Born on December 12, 1933 to the late Gabriel and Dorothy (nee Beans) Hall, Aletta was the beloved wife of the late Dr. James Colletti, DDS; loving mother of Dawn DeStefano (Robert), Gary Colletti (Debbie), and Kevin Colletti; cherished grandmother of Bret DeStefano, Andrew Boccella (Alysse Mantel), Christopher Colletti, Alyson Colletti (Ryan Bruderer), and Tyler Colletti; dearest great-grandmother of Nora Boccella; and dear sister of Gabriel Hall, Thomas Hall, and the late Joan Gilmore. Aletta was born in Somerville, NJ and grew up tending and riding horses, with her sister, at a nearby farm. She married Dr. James Colletti, DDS and they shared 38 years together before his passing in 1995. Aletta enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting for the church bazaars. She was active in her daughter's Brownie and Girl Scout troops, and used to take her sons to WWF wrestling matches and Phillies games when they were younger. Aletta went to all of her grandchildren's sporting and performance events. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter. Aletta worked at the John Wanamaker department store for several years. She started in the children's department ascending to the position of manager, then she moved on to the cosmetics department, where she stayed for several years. She later became a teacher's aide at Bridgeport Elementary, where she was affectionately known as Mrs. C. Aletta was always known for finishing her day with a nice bowl of Neapolitan ice cream. Relatives and friends are invited to Aletta's Life Celebration on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 11-11:50 AM at the Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 W.
