Lansing
Passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 46. Alfredo was born on May 8, 1968 to the late Francisco Sr. and Rosa (Torez) DeLaCruz in Greenville, MI. He was a graduate of Sexton High School and spent his entire life in the Lansing area where he owned and operated Mamacita's Famous Taco. He was a devoted and loving husband and father who always supported his children and loved cheering them on at their sporting events. He was a role model and father figure too many other's and he cared for them as if they were his own. He had a good heart and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Zerraka (Martin) DeLaCruz; 5 children, Dezarae, Rashaunda, Alfredo Jr., Kiana, and Joseph DeLaCruz; 4 grandchildren, Ar'mon, Dez'Anay, Layla, Nia, and one on the way, Jovanni; 2 brothers, Francisco Jr., (Peggy) and David (Tamara) DeLaCruz; 2 sisters, Elva DeLaCruz and Maria (Juve) Aldaco, and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Abundant Grace Faith Church, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 with Pastor Liese officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel. Condolences may be made at www.palmerbush.com.

I was unaware of the funeral. What can you say about a man that I worked for 21 years. Not only was my boss but my friend. My heart bleeds for the family and the lost of a dear, kind, generous man. Fred always gave and never expected anything back in return. As far as I am concern, you've already earned your wings! I will never forget you!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the DeLaCruz family. I am sorry I can't make it to the services, I've been feeling under the weather the last few days. However, Freddy was a very good friend of mine and he will be missed.

Zereca, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your. family Freddy was such a good person and as you know he did love you and his children very much.
