Alice Ramirez Obituary
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Alice made it her home for more than 80 years before relocating to Tuscaloosa. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Ramirez, and her son Philip.
Alice is lovingly remembered by her children: Charles (Nicole) Ramirez, Larry (Sally) Ramirez, John (Carmelina Pantoja) Ramirez, and Rebecca (Ricky) Bruner. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Charles W. (Ezra) Ramirez, Daniel N. Ramirez, Brian (Erica) Ramirez, Laura (MacDane) Seitz, Philip J. (Carmela) Ramirez, and Brian Bruner. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Daniel James, Hailey, Philip George, Lily, Elena, Amelia, Chopper, Viggo, and Andrew.
A graduate of Grossmont High School, Alice pursued further education through a variety of courses at Grossmont Community College. She built a respected career at El Cajon Municipal Court, where her dedication and integrity earned the admiration of her colleagues.
In retirement, Alice found joy in tending to her garden, traveling, and immersing herself in books. Her greatest joy was doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Alice's enduring kindness and perseverance will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she touched.

With all my love and prayers....our family has seen dear loved ones that showed us how to live life and overcome and now they go before us to show us how precious is this life and each of us as family.

Aunt Alice was a very special woman. I loved our visit with her when she came to San Diego. The first picture is Aunt Alice with my mom, Helen Steffes, and with my aunt Dolores Jarrett. The second picture has Ed and Yolanda, cousins Lisa and Derek, and Lorraine, me, my mom, aunt Dolores, and aunt Alice. Everyone really enjoyed our day together. My condolences to the family.
