Amber Lee Breedlove Manus

Amber Lee Breedlove Manus, 42, peacefully departed from this world in the comfort of her home on November 18, 2023. Born to Bruce Breedlove and Connie Jo Hewitt Keith on July 29, 1981, in Tennessee, Amber leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and love.

Amber, a proud native of Cookeville, Tennessee, attended Cookeville High School and later graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Throughout her adult life, Amber moved a few times, but she ultimately planted roots and found a home away from home in the heart of Indianapolis.

A true southern charmer and a kind soul, Amber possessed a remarkable ability to connect with others. For over a decade, she dedicated herself to the field of child social services, specializing in foster care and adoption within the Indianapolis and surrounding communities. Her passion for helping others brought immeasurable joy to those whose lives she touched.

Amber was an avid reader and had an affinity for water-related activities, with Dale Hollow Lake along the Obey River holding a special place in her heart. She was a passionate advocate for animals, particularly dogs. Among the many dogs that captured Amber's heart, she cherished her fur babies the most: Rocky, Shania, Benji, Neyland, and Kingston.

Amber found great happiness in the company of close family and friends, always ready to offer support, encouragement, and her infectious cheerfulness. Her genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Amber's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but her spirit will live on forever in the memories of those who loved her.

Amber is survived by her father, Bruce Breedlove; sisters, Cyndi Breedlove-Helms and Carrie Breedlove; brothers, Weston Breedlove and Grayson Breedlove; aunts; Patricia (Bruce) Lowrie and Forrest McPherson; uncle, John (Dee) Hewitt; nephews, Austin Breedlove and Joshua Helms; cousins, Scarlett Hankey, Nigel Lowrie, David Leon Hewitt, Anna Nicole Hewitt Brown, Micki Hewitt Boles and Zachariah McPherson; special cousins, Evetta Parsons Darmon, Jamie Rich Lee, and Elizabeth Rich Logsdon; Stepfather, Roger (Debra) Keith

Amber was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Jo Hewitt Keith; grandparents, John and Azalee Breedlove, and Zacharia Hewitt and Enola Rich; uncles, David and Randall Hewitt
