December 30, 2016
Daddy we love and miss you much. With Christmas and your birthday , December was a hard month for us. The girls released balloons for your birthday and we all sang for you. We are taking care of mom and I know you are looking down proud of us. I love you forever

Drew was one of the finest persons I've ever met. Always attentive to his sick wife yet always graceful to whomever he spoke. I will miss his intelligent conversations. I will see him in Heaven for sure !

Andrew was a classmate of mine from our Redemptorist High School years (1966 - 1970) in the Irish Channel in New Orleans, LA. Andrew and I shared many classes during those 4 years and he always made it a pleasure when in his company during those growing years of our lives. Our deepest sympathy to the family in this untimely passing of Andrew. We will keep him and the LaBorde family in our prayers.

Special condolences to the LaBorde family. Drew was truly a family man. The only thing he was concerned about was caring for his wife and family. He wasn't about flashy cars, or jewelry, or extravagances. He never spent on himself that I could tell. He always worked hard for his family and was a special friend to me. I am glad that I'm a little part of his long career. I will miss him terribly. I can still hear him laughing from our lunch last Thursday. Tony Carollo Metairie, Louisiana

My condolences to all of Drew's family. I worked with Drew at Murphy E&P for many years. Loved that infections laugh and his hilarious stories. May his family find comfort and peace in the Lord.

It was an honor to have been able to know and work with Drew. He was great at whatever he worked with whether it was family, geology, astronomy or just keeping up on his passion for movies.
He was fair, smart and very full of life. I hope that his family can be as strong and heal soon with their lives going forward.

Drew was the best: unique, intelligent, and energetic. But most of all he exuded nothing but goodwill to the whole world. In this way he was truly an inspiration to all of us who knew him. I feel lucky that I had the chance to work with him

Sharon, Natalie and Jan,
Where do I begin? I have been knowing Drew since 1987. He was one of my favorite geologists. He had a loud laugh and hilarious stories. He was a very dedicated worker and a wonderful husband and father. I am devastated to hear of his death at only 64. He will be missed at our ex-Murphy lunch gatherings. He was well liked by all.
