On July 23 2005 of Glendora. Age 61. Beloved daughter of Peter J. and the late Mary Loiuse (nee Matero). Dear sister of Albina Makurdsik Beatrice Kaelin and Marie Botsford. Also survived by 3 nieces 4 nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.
Angela Bertolino dedicated her career to education serving as a teacher in The Willingboro School District for 31 years. Angela was actively involved in the Willingboro Education Association serving as Chairperson negotiating committee coordinator of strike and President for 4 years. She served as County President for the Burlington County Education Association for 16 years. During this time she was actively involved in both state and national education associations and involved in the NJEA Delegate Assembly. Member and Chairperson for the NJEA Government Relations Committee served as North Eastern Regional Director of the National Council of Urban Educators Association (NCUEA) National Education Association Director traveling to Washington DC for over 6 years lobbying legislators and developing policy for NEA Delegate to the National Education Association. Representative Assembly for over twenty years and was appointed by Governor to serve on the Board of Directors of the Education Information and Resource Center for 14 years (EIRC). Angela also received the BCEA Elizabeth Richards Award for distinguished service and commitment to education.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing 7 to 9pm Tuesday evening and 8:30 to 9:15am Wednesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am St. Teresa's RC Church Runnemede. Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum Bellmawr. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Angela's memory to the Angela M. Bertolino Scholarship Fund c/o Sun National Bank 10 E.
