Anna F. Himes, 74, of Center Avenue, West Pittsburg, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in Avalon Nursing Center following an extended illness.Born March 8, 1934, in Rathmel, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Edgar C. and Martha Cathers Reed.She married Keith E. Himes on June 30, 1956. He died May 11, 1997.Mrs. Himes was a member of Moravia Presbyterian Church.She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Janice Himes of New Castle; two daughters and a son-in-law, Debra and Alan McBride of Enon Valley, and Diana Heasley of Roscoe, Ill.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Tony Principe of Salem, S.C., and Dorothy and Calvin Pierce of State College; three grandchildren, Trista Heasley, Nathaniel McBride and Natalie McBride; two stepgrandchildren, Rona Hilliard, and Lori Jones and her husband, Dennis; and three great-grandchildren, Wesley Jones, Kristi Jones and Kyle Jones.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Marshall Funerall Home, 341 Main St., Wampum. Funeral services will be conducted at noon tomorrow at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Knoxdale, Jefferson County. The Rev. Frederick H.
