Anna Pflieger

Anna M. Truex Pflieger Carneys Point, N.J. Anna M. Pflieger (Truex), of Carneys Point, N.J, passed away peacefully from this life on June 26, 2020 at the age of 96. She was born October 10, 1923 in Pleasantville, N.J. She spent most of her adult life residing in Carneys Point where she provided 30 years service working for the Penns-Grove Carneys Point School District in the cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, children and grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was also an avid reader of mystery and romance novels. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward Pflieger Sr. Anna is survived by three sons and one daughter, Edward Pflieger Jr., Michael Pflieger (Juanita), Jeffery Pflieger (Julie) and Patricia Hyatt (Robert). She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Robert (Aimee), Steven (Laurie) and Scott Hyatt (Amanda), Jen Pflieger and Ashley Woelfer (Steve) as well as Michael (Jamie), Calvin (Danielle), Chris (Angelina Sierra) Pflieger and Alana Weiss (Phil); twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Anna was the loving sister to one brother, Andrew Truex; and her four sisters, Beatrice Schwamb, Betty Luciano, Margaret Marshall and Connie Clark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30.
