Anne Bloom

Anne Bloom 78 years of age, passed away on April 22, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Robert Bloom; loving mother of Jason Bloom, Jennifer Bloom, and daughter-in-law Chanda Bloom; devoted sister to Arthur (Sally) Melvin, and Steve Melvin; sister-in-law to Alan (Lynn) Bloom and the late Dr. Ira (Lynn) Bloom; loving grandmother to Robbie and Tyler Bloom; devoted daughter to the late Arthur and Eunice Melvin; daughter-in law of the late Morris and Belle Bloom. She is survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, students and friends.

Anne was a kind and loving soul that dedicated her life to supporting those around her. Her thoughtfulness and caring spirit left a mark on everyone she touched. She embodied the role of maternal caregiver- family was the most important thing to her. She cherished spending time with her children, grandsons, and husband of 49 years. Anne was a dedicated elementary teacher for Baltimore County Schools for 35 years and left an immeasurable mark on the many lives of the children she taught. Her calm and patient demeanor made her classroom a place where students felt loved and supported. Anne was adored by all that knew her and will be truly missed. The world is a better place because she was in it.

Services are private. Reception will be held Thursday, 4/25/24, from 5-8 p.m. at 7 Ice Pond Court, Pikesville MD. Please omit flowers.
