Dear John and Douglas, It is with sincere regret that I'm now realizing that I have unfortunately missed being with you this morning at your mother's church service. I had so looked forward to meeting you, and sharing my remembrances of your father Jack, with whom I had worked at ALCOA in the legal department in the 1940's. He was so likeable as he greeted everyone each morning with "Good Morning Glory!" I'm so sorry that you have now lost your mother also, who I did not know, having met her only once. In 1949, I left the legal department when I was chosen to work for I.W. Wilson, who was then Senior Vice President, but who would later become President and Chairman of the Board of ALCOA. Once again, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. With Much Love, Mary George Gast
