Anthony N. DiPrinzio

Anthony Nicholas DiPrinzio, age 27, a resident of Newtown Square, PA was greeted into heaven with open arms by his late family and friends on January 21, 2024.

Anthony was a 2015 graduate of Saint Joseph's Preparatory School where he was a member of the crew team and a 2019 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Economy. Anthony was passionate and actively involved in the blockchain technology industry. His career began as a member of the Blockchain at Berkeley student organization which included a role as both Head of Consulting and President. Upon graduation, Anthony began his professional career at BASF chemical company as Head of the Blockchain Lab from 2019 - 2021. Anthony joined Aleo, a blockchain startup, in March of 2021 as Head of Growth. He was an integral part of the company's early development, establishing Aleo's partnership program and vibrant online community. In January 2024, he continued his professional career as Head of Business Development at Provable, the for-profit entity of Aleo.

Most recently, Anthony followed his pursuit of honoring his family heritage by attaining Italian citizenship. Anthony spent his professional and free time traveling the world. From the Bay Area to Turkey, South Korea, Portugal, Germany, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Greece, Israel, Iceland, Singapore, Vietnam, Colombia, Italy, Norway, and his current time in New York City, Anthony left a lasting legacy for all those fortunate to cross his path. Additionally, he was an avid outdoorsman and developed a passion for fishing in the streams of Delaware County, hunting in Wyoming with his father, and hiking all over the world.

Anthony was a remarkable son, brother, boyfriend, colleague, and friend. His vitality, dedication, and work ethic were inspirational. In addition, he had a great sense of humor and knew how to have fun, especially on the dance floor. Most of all, Anthony was a pillar of strength to anyone fortunate enough to know him.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Anthony and Angela DiPrinzio, his brother, Nicholas DiPrinzio, and his remarkable girlfriend and soulmate, Cecilia Iversen. Although our hearts are heavy, they are filled with joyful memories Anthony left behind of a life well lived.

Visitation: Tuesday, 1/30 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at Williams Lombardo Funeral Home at 530 W. Woodland Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064.

Celebration of Life: Wednesday, 1/31 at Saint Anastasia Church at 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 (Visitation: 9:00am - 11:00am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am).

Entombment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery at 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
