Beatrice Heideman

HEIDEMAN, Beatrice Helen Peacefully at the Marianhill Palliative Care Unit in Pembroke on August 22, 2007 in her 84th year with her loving husband of 61 years, Lavern at her side. Beatrice was born in Hardwood Lake on August 7, 1924. She spent her time raising and caring for her family. As well, she was very active with Ladies Aid and other charitable causes. She will be sadly missed by her children Dale (Joan) of Eganville, Raymond (Luella) of Pembroke, Edison (Donna) of Eganville, and Earl (Shirley) of Cormac. Predeceased by baby Heideman. Predeceased by parents Robert and Hannah (Kaufeldt) Johnston. Survived by her brothers and sisters Warren (Denysa), Racheal (Rick), Rita (late Frank), Iris (late Garnet), Roy, Joan, Jean (Herbert), Gary (Barbara), and Brian (Beverly). Predeceased by her brothers and sister Allen (Doreen), Mildred, and baby Johnston. She will also be greatly missed by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may pay respects at the Zummach Funeral Home, 11 Lake Street, Killaloe from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday, August 23, 2007. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Killaloe (148 Queen Street). Interment will take place following at the Sebastopol Baptist Church (Baptist Church road, off Opeongo Line). If any wish to make remembrances, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Marianhill Palliative Care Unit in Pembroke would be appreciated.
