BERNARD DiNARDO

DiNardo, Bernard (Bernie), age 82, passed away on January 27, 2016 after a battle with cancer. Bernie was born in Hopedale, MA and attended Hopedale High School class of 1952. He was married to Grace (Guglielmi) DiNardo class of 1954, the love of his life and moved to California in 1956. They eventually settled in Orange, CA where they've lived for the past 56 years. Bernie is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn Iteen of Corona, CA and Lynda Domino (son in-law Craig) of Grants Pass, OR and four grandchildren, Alex Iteen, Meghan Iteen, Kristen Iteen and Faylin Domino. Bernie served our country proudly as a Marine for 3 years in Korea and was stationed at Camp Pendleton earning several recognition medals. He earned his bachelors degree from Northrop Institute of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering in 1959 and loved working in the aerospace industry up until the time of his passing. He loved to travel with family and friends and made many extended exploratory trips to Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean and throughout the U.S. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and photography. As a youth and young man, he played the trumpet in several bands and was a star athlete in baseball, cross-country, basketball and golf. He was an avid fan of Ducks Hockey and Angels Baseball (but had a special place in his heart for the Red Sox). A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 4:00pm at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Orange, CA. where he was a devoted parishioner for over 50 years.
