Dear Bertha and Family! It makes my heart smile to picture you and Patsy and your beloved Rudy together again! You were so good to me over the many years: a wonderful Scout leader, a second Mom as Alice, Patsy and I spent most every afternoon practicing our cheer leading and Pom routines with the sliding glass door on your back porch as our mirror, feeding us with Granny's tortillas, lending me dresses for Prom and hosting the after Prom party, and yes, not hesitating to correct us when we got out of line---so many memories---you will be missed by so many--until we meet again, Dear Bertha! Love to all of you! Ann (or Alice as Rudy used to call me!) Nancy King Monroe and Family

Dearest Grandma, We will miss you greatly. You were the single greatest spiritual influence in our lives. Your impact will transcend generations to come. It gives me comfort knowing you were greeted at the gates of heaven by my mom and grandpa. You will be missed but never forgotten.
