Betty Sue Cooper Ward, age 79, of Greenwood, Louisiana passed away on Monday January 7, 2019. She was born August 7, 1939 in Myrtle, Mississippi to Wiley Cooper and Irene Warren Cooper.
A visitation for Ms. Betty will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with a burial to follow the services at Centuries Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Ford, Alstin Ward, Taylor Ward, Joseph Ward, James Jordan, Trisdan Ward, and Kevin Harris and honorary pallbearers, Peyton Lee and Mike Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gerry and wife Carolyn Ward, Connie and husband Vance Robertson, Rodney and wife Denise Ward, and Andy and wife Yolanda Ward; grandchildren, Beth and Tom Lewis, Kathy Avasso, Tommy and Hollie Ford, Robin and Mike Lee, Joseph and Jessica Ward, Kobie and James Jordan, Alstin and Taylor Ward, and Morgan Caskey; great grandchildren, Shelby Lee, Trisdan Ward, Peyton Lee, Hailie Ward, Kevin Harris, Sydney Avasso, Sadie Ward, Ashley Kate Ford, Jessie, Jaci, Kaci, and Kaleb Ford, Chestin and Ryleigh Kate Ward, Koda Ward, Ashton Jordan, Abby Lewis, and Wyatt Spaan; great-great grandchildren, MarLyn and Autumn Hallmark.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew L. Ward; great grandchild, Wyatt Lewis; and her parents, Wiley and Irene.
