Betty Tomlinson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 19, 2025.
Betty Lou "Boop" Tomlinson, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and vibrant soul, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was 84 years old.

Born on December 9, 1940, in Lansing, Michigan, Betty brought joy and laughter into the world from the very beginning. Known affectionately as "Boop," she lived a life rich with love, connection, and spirited energy. Her infectious laugh and sharp sense of humor made her the heart of every gathering-truly the life of the party.

Betty was a devoted family woman who cherished her children: Jodi Tomlinson Sibert, Scott Tomlinson, and Ronnie Tomlinson. She also found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to two grandchildren.

A devout Christian throughout her life, Betty's faith was a guiding force that shaped her compassion and generosity. She was also a proud member of the National Ski Patrol-a testament to her adventurous spirit and commitment to helping others.

Those who knew Betty will remember her warmth and wit, qualities that left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her legacy is one of joy, laughter, and deep-rooted love for family and friends.

In memory of Betty Lou "Boop" Tomlinson, may we continue to honor love, life, friendship, and family-the values she held most dear. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
