I am sad but not for Bill. I can't imagine how much his family will miss him. I know Raymon and I will miss seeing him. Bill and Jane, a wonderful couple and friends. So many will miss him and the funny things he said. May God bless his family and fill that big vacant spot he has left.

"Jane, Teresa, Sharon and Kathy: Billy Dean was one of those rare individuals that set a amazing example as a husband, father and church leader just by the way he lived on a daily basis. He was one of the finest men I have known and Smackover has lost one of it's favorite sons. He will be missed by many but his legacy lives on in you. Look to your Heavenly Father for peace and comfort in this most difficult time."

From the first time I met Billy Dean I was hooked! I felt like I had always known him. Over the years, I've grown to love and respect him tremendously. When I visit Sharon, he and Jane always dropped by for a visit, One of the kindest and good hearted men I've had the privilege to love. Any younger men that ever knew Billy Dean has high standards to set for himself as a leader, father, christian and friend. I challenge us all. Much love to entire family!

We pause to remember a special man and the family who loved him. What special memories we have of the growing up days at Smackover and the friends we made along the way.

We are sorry to know of his homegoing. We grieve but not as those who have no hope. My special love to my dear friend, Jane.

I am so blessed to have known Billy Dean Spruill! He exemplified all the characteristics of what God intends for a man to be - a man of God, wonderful husband, loving father, and friend to more than can be counted. God blessed him with the gift of lifting the spirits of those around him, as well as putting a smile on their faces.
Billy Dean Spruill will be greatly missed by many, including me!! Smackover has lost a gem, and heaven has gained an angel!! I'm looking forward to laughing with him again in heaven!
