Billy was truly a one of a kind man. He had a remarkable impact on my work ethic, my story telling skills, and my knowledge of the trade he MASTERED. Most importantly he impacted the way I view the world as a man, through the wisdom he bestowed upon me, the raw passion he had in his heart, and the tangible appreciation he had for this temporary thing we call life. He gave me advice and insights that cannot be measured by means of currency, resources, or physical assets. He was a mentor to me, a source of inspiration, and a man that I deeply looked up to. He came into my life when I needed a friend like him most. To his son's and daughters: we installed a picture of Billy up on the wall in the shop. It's a gesture of remembrance, gratitude, sincere love, brotherhood, and appreciation for all the knowledge he shared with us and all the laughs and smiles he blessed us with. The people he worked with still think about him and talk about him often. Today I really missed him. I've never met anyone who could tell a story like Billy, or make me laugh as hard as Billy, or work as hard as Billy no matter how tired, sick, cold, or hot. That man was from another world, he WOULD NOT QUIT. My dear friend I know you are resting in your resting place, and I know you are at peace. I will remember you forever and always, and I'm truly grateful for having the pleasure of getting to know you and considering you my brother. I love you and miss you buddy. One of a kind, cornerstone, loving, compassionate, hilarious, wise, charitable, true to his word, trustworthy, irreplaceable, loyal, you left this world as an absolute LEGEND. Our world grew darker when you continued on to your next chapter, but the seeds you planted continue to grow, and the light that you left behind will shine brightly. I could write forever about how genuinely special you were. I'm holding the shop down for you my friend, and I'm going to go 100% in everything I do forever and always, until the very end.. just like you did. I'll fight tooth and nail with everything I have, just like you showed me. Carrie, Jessica, Thomas, and Johnathan, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I sincerely wish you guys healing and I'm sending love and hope your way. Sincerely, George James.

Thank you, dad. For teaching me how to touch people's hearts. It's been a year since you were diagnosed with cancer and the hardest year I've yet to live. If you had known, I know you would have said more. You didn't have to. We knew your heart all along. I love you dad. We miss you.

Billy is my first nephew and I was only 6 yrs old when he was born. I remember him as being all boy and a great kid. I loved him all his life and I love him still. Have a peaceful rest sweet boy -- I will see you again one day. Love, Aunt Robin

Billy always had a smile for all around him. When I would stop and talk with him it was always a positive conversation and his love for his family was there to see. We talked about our Grandbabies one of the last times we spoke. I told him that our Grandkids were our immortality. He smiled at me, he has a lot more Grands than I do. "for now". I'll see you on the other side Billy.

Billy and I chatted pretty much every time we saw each other. I asked several times when he was going to hang up his spurs and take it easy and his response was always the same. I'll work here as long as they'll have me. He loved his HACI family and we certainly loved him.
