Elsie Dean Obituary
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 47 years Charles Robert Dean, Jr.
Elsie is survived by her son Charles Robert Dean III (Mary Beth), grandchildren Emily Elizabeth, Caroline Siler and Charles Robert "Rob" IV, brother Delyle Hibler (Jackie). She was predeceased by her parents, Einar and Dorothy Loftness, sister Sharon Leclair and nephew Stephen Leclair. The family would like to thank Fairhaven Retirement Community for their loving care and dedication. A funeral mass will be Thurs. June 14th at 11:00 am at St. Perpetua Catholic Church in Waterford, Michigan visitation is prior at 9:30 am. Internment at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham, 2121 3rd Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203.

I met Elsie and her husband when they first moved into Fair Haven retirement community because they are Catholics, and my Catholic parish is the closest to Fair Haven. I'll never forget that first meeting with Elsie in the hallway. She was the kind of person who could light up a room with her beautiful smile and radiant eyes! I always looked forward to seeing Elsie because she was unfailingly gracious, thoughtful and cheerful. Two church members from my parish, St. Francis Xavier Church, visited and brought holy communion to Elsie more frequently than I did, so I know they will also miss her loving presence.
