Bonnie Lou (Jorgensen) Williams

July 31, 1942 - August 17, 2024

Bonnie was born in LeRoy Minnesota at home on July 31, 1942, and died August 17, 2024, while residing at The Moments Memory Care facility in Lakeville, Minnesota, under the care of Minnesota Hospice. Bonnie was the daughter of Maurice and Ellen Jorgensen of Osage Iowa. Bonnie grew up on the Jorgensen family farm and graduated from Osage High School.

Bonnie is survived by her loving wife Nancy Seaberg of Lakeville, her daughter Kiersten "Kiwi" (Brent) Bielenberg, and her son Thomas (Amy) Williams, and 5 grandchildren Aleisha (Jonathan) Thweatt, Ryan Bielenberg, Rachel (Christopher) Wise and Lauren and Julia Williams. She was blessed with 2 great-grandchildren, Anna and Olivia Thweatt. Bonnie is survived by her brother Wilmer Jorgensen (Lorraine) and her sister Velda LaCoste (John) of Osage Iowa, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She is also survived by Nancy's children, James Beach and Kari (David) Dorth. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister DeLoy Wilson, and her husband James Williams.

Bonnie was trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and then specially trained as a Surgical Technician. She enjoyed working in the Operating Rooms at the University of Minnesota in General and Transplant surgery, and later at Phillips Eye Institute in Minneapolis. She was very skilled and well respected by all who worked with her. She attended Bethel University and received her BA in Organizational Studies in 1991. Bonnie said she loved being a nurse, a Lutheran, her Danish heritage, singing in church choirs and Choral groups and just harmonizing to any song she heard, especially hymns. Bonnie shared her life with Nancy starting in 1993, and they were married in 2013 at their former lake home in Nevis, Minnesota. Bonnie loved her family and friends, walks and hikes with Nancy and their dog Wendy, birding, fishing and traveling all over the world. Her grandchildren fondly recall times at the lake, yearly gingerbread house construction and her famous whipped pink Jello. She was kind, thoughtful and full of life. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, witty sense of humor and beautiful smile.

I have fond memories of working with Bonnie at PEI, and even shared a locker with her for quite a while. She was a sweet lady and a terrific surgical technician. Heaven has gained a !

With a warm smile and open mind Bonnie met us first in Norway and later in the US where she and Nancy opened their home for us. Their kindness and hospitality touched both of us. Now our thoughts and deepest sympathy go to Nancy, who is left alone. With love from Karin and Øystein

Bonnie was a kindhearted, beautiful soul--onr of my mom's best friends and a woman I was blessed to meet and get to know. Her smile was infectious, and her love of music a gift she and Nancy shared with my parents, singing together in the HUMC choir in Hubbard, MN. The world has lost an amazing woman, but heaven has gained a radiant light.

Aunt Bonnie, what a wonderful soul! Always there with a glowing smile and comforting hug. Anyone blessed enough to meet her came away better for it. Tom, Kiwi, Nancy, Mom... no words are sufficient to relay my love for Bonnie and you all!
