Braden Hinson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 24, 2025.
Braden was truly one of a kind. From the time he was born, he was happy. A kind, compassionate, and empathetic soul who loved to talk to people, Braden quickly made friends with everyone he met. He was blessed with family trips to places all over the U.S., where many cherished memories were made. Braden enjoyed being active and playing sports, everything from Pop Warner to Taekwondo to basketball. He was also fascinated with cars from a young age, which turned out to be a life-long passion. In everything Braden did, he gave it his all, which could even be seen in how hard he worked.

Braden was loved by so many because of the love he gave to all. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Marion Randolph, and his grandfather, John Chermansky. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Greg and Jenna Hinson; mother and stepfather, Alicia Chermansky and Davidson Shuford; brother, Greyson Hinson; grandpa, Houston Hinson; grandma and grandpa, Sheryl and Gene Long; grandma, Jo Jones; and his aunts and uncle, Kimberly Hinson, Joshua and Katie Peterson, and Shelby Harkey. His extended family includes, but is not limited to, his girlfriend, Peyton Warren; best friends, Matthew Young, Michael Capone-Smith, and Jaden Landry; and the staff and patrons of Duck Dive Bar and Grill.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at 1:00 pm at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC, where friends and family will gather to honor his life and share in fond memories. A reception will follow the service. One of Braden's favorite charities, for which he thoroughly enjoyed volunteering his time, was Wheel to Surf through Adaptive Surf Project. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider making a donation to the Adaptive Surf Project at: https://adaptivesurfproject.com/get-involved.
